GFMTA mission is to emphasize the role of the Treasuries of the financial institutions and to raise awareness of its importance in the economic development of the country; Mission also includes:

• Supporting, within the authority, the professional development of the Treasury Departments of the financial markets - to enhance access to knowledge, conduct various trainings.
• Establishment and strengthening of organized, professional network of representatives of Treasury Departments of financial institutions;
• Advocacy of common interests of Georgian financial markets, participation in formation of regulatory environment for Treasury Departments of financial institutions, representation and protection of common interests of market participants;
• Supporting members of the Association in expanding their activities and contributing to the economic development of the country;
• Supporting members of the association in finding and establishing new markets for financial products;
• Encourage high professional ethics in the members of the Association and in the financial markets of Georgia;
