Within the framework of the USAID Economic Governance Program grant activity Georgian Financial Markets Treasuries Association has initiated a collaboration with Swiss consultants Bruno Langfritz and Marcel Zimmermann for the organisational development.
This collaboration aims to improve organizational structure and governance process, enhance membership of the association and strengthen partnerships with international counterparts.
Face-to-face meetings between Swiss consultants and the association were held from July 3rd to July 7th with the participation of representatives of GFMTA member financial institutions, the National Bank of Georgia and the USAID Economic Governance Program.
As part of the mission, consultants will work on sharing best practices of the international financial institutions (IFIs) and introducing new educational programs and trainings, that will contribute to the improvement of financial markets' representatives' literacy and foster the financial independence of the association.
